Properties of engineered wood flooring with cold-pressing and emulsion polymer isocyanate adhesive

For the sake of improving product quality and economy, a series cold-pressing experiments were carried out to investigate material properties engineered wood flooring with emulsion polymer isocyanate adhesive. Effect pressing time, pressure, adhesive spreading rate on modulus elasticity (MOE) rupture (MOR) was analyzed based orthogonal experimental design. According results, both MOE MOR positively correlated pressure rate. The first increased then decreased increase showed an increasing trend time. Meanwhile, time had greatest effect MOE, followed by rate, pressure. However, influence Furthermore, significant contribution MOR, spread only MOR. Finally, optimal condition determined as 18 s 1.25 MPa 200 g/m3 it is proposed for application in industrial cold highest production benefit.
